Re: Rover Revivals Revival

So have the first car in for a little repair, 52k mile rover 600 SLI 2ltr honda in NFR. Needs some work on the handbrake, due to it being pointless. Has a few bumps due to woman rush hour commuter driving but will be forsale after i sort it for its mot. great tyre and barely any rust as you'd expect...

that'll work, best buying new alloy as you'll never get it out.

Re: Abs fault code - continuity fault

those do work but you need to use a fair few cable ties due to them not being car specific.

Re: 420 GSi (R8)- General Info

positives:
easy engine to work on
takes obscene amounts of abuse before failing but gives plenty of notice first
Easy to bleed coolant

Negatives:
Nearly always leaks oil from the top right hand corner.
bit under power in nasp form
Prone to rusty water pumps if proper maintenance not performed

Many thank`s :) thermostat it is then , what`s the best way of avoiding any airlocks when refitting thermostat ?
You are taking a pipe out of the middle of the cooling system, no, you'll get air locks.

Re: Headgasket

yes it reacts with the exhaust gases in the water.

Sticking thermos would cause blow backs in the bottle due to not putting water through the radiator to cool it.
