All UK plates have denoted place of issue since 1903. Yeah but not worth risking 60 or 80 quid or whatever it is and three points! Are you sure? That's the first I've heard of issuing of points. The MOT tester will fail it and therefore legally it is deemed not roadworthy with them fitted - which becomes a sticking point with your insurer in the event...
