Mrs S was very impressed the way the airflow didnt mess her hair up. unfortunately the rubber trim off the top of the front screen came off (double sided tape seems to have lost its sticky). The little knuckle joint in the hood me...

216 cabbie front window adjustment

Hi Folks, Ive noticed my drivers window is squeeking against the rubber on the roof recently and it looks like its started to ride up a little high (maybe 1/4"). ive searched the forum to see if there is an easy guide to the adjustements available and cant find one. Ive pulled it out (it wasnt difficult) and I can see the springs but I cant get it to locate properly on the electric mount (gimble thing the motors inside moves about). It seems...

Re: Ashleys Rover - progress

Stumbled at the last hurdle with the MOT, one of the rear brakes isnt working well enough... Its the only problem found so my mechanic is gonna give it a wiggle and perhaps a new brake cylinder and we should be all sorted for a Monday retest :D :clapping

Re: Ashleys Rover - progress

Thanks Tony, I feel more like a custodian than a keeper of this car. Its so old school with the original tape player, its like going back to 1997 when you sit in it. :)

Im thinking of taking it to POL next year. :D
