hey Johnny216 thanks and we could possibly arrange it sometime but i have been really thinking of putting a b18c engine into it. Is this kind of thing easy to do, have you any experience with it, any advice? as i understand it i can use same engine mounts and it doesnt require any fabrication and t...

sup guys little update. Have driven the car now over 200 miles put some magnatec in it and it seems to be running great - still noticably less power in second but i reckon thats just the engine/ecu so need to tune it still.

ok sounds good - spoke to the garage today and going to go for a drive with the guy who put in the engine who has a honda background and see what we can do about the 2nd gear

i definitely wont be paying any more money! but i agree that the price is too high seeing as they did not refurbish the engine in any way or even check it the +£1k is ridiculous. Im going to ask for £500 back and see where that gets me

yeah tbh they saw me coming and what garage wouldnt, i dont really know much about cars and i had to get it done as fast as possible also the garage is on my road and the car wasnt running

Yes I will get them to fix it but what about getting money back..? do you have any ideas as to why there could be a loss of power/next to no acceleration in 2nd?

so going forward what do you think i should do about the engine and the second gear problem? im at a loss really because just spent so much and theres still/new problems cant really afford to do anything else....
