While this is not an advert as such, I want this car to go to an enthusiastic home, as it really is a special example. Petrolblog is going to do an article on it soon, so the 'campaign' so to speak will start then, but I was quite proud of the photos I took.

Not decided on price but thinking around the £3.5k mark

Good luck with the sale Rover R8's have been undervalued to date, which hampers their preservation imo.

High price = long wait

It’s priced right but I can only count on my fingers the amount of people I know that will pay that much for a rover.

It’s also the absolute worst time, with job insecurity and living on the bread line for 2-3 months will all add to your wait.

Also the lack of shows where people can see the cars in the flesh are all detrimental to quick sales.

I think it’s a tad over given the issues that need fixing. An enthusiast would want to resolve those and it would cost £ which all has to be accounted for.

You raised good points: Its nearly the best out there, but nearly isn't enough. As such I've reduced the price to £3470, which is more reasonable

A very nice in fact concours Mk 1 MR2 went for £7.5k? on this new car show with Drew Pritchard & Paul Cowley the other day. P.C's C/D value is about 5! Must have been filmed before Corona struck though!
