I had a quick look this am on Ebay for my supplier, they have sold out.

Honda Engine/Gearbox Manual
I can photocopy either a] everything
b] just the DOHC engine section

and post if you wish, I shall need you to pay my costs and postage though. The P.O charges approx' 19P a sheet I think.

If you want a photo copy please PM me your address.

theres this one that we have looked at before but now has been reduced and it looks so similar to my engine that it must be the same! its a d16a8 engine so just wanted to confirm for sure if i can use the block from this engine? If so will use that as donor car and get new rods and pistons and engine completely reconditioned.

the price tag im looking at for different garages is rather a lot so if there's anyone on here with the skills, i would gladly rather pay an individual person than a company. Let me know cheers lads

:O i need u *laughs* - damn ur so far away. so hard to find a garage that appreciates rovers, they all tell me to scrap it *laughs*. SO iv been told by one engine remanufacturing place that d16a8 and a9 block etc ARE NOT COMPATIBLE so now im even more confused. Im guessing the best route is to swap like for like I NEED to find d16a9 engine asap but looks like il have to play the long game.. :tumbleweed
