Hi,
Can anyone tell me if seats from a Rover 25 MY 2000 would fit into a Rover 25 model year 2005?

can't see any reason why not apart from maybe srs issues

How would the airbags be affected? or is it something else?

The triggers and the wiring connections are under the seat

Answers a question I had in my head about my 211, what is that damn wiring under my chairs there is no heated seats :clapping

they should be a straight swap and you might have to just swap over the pretensioner on the seat

While we're on the subject of seat compatibility, does anyone know if later Rover model seats go in the R8? They look really similar and as though they might and given that some late R8s got bubble Rover dashboards, it seems plausible. Idle curiosity at this stage, really.

I think Dist will clarify but it's often just the front seats that will go in, and from a surprising range of cars too including a 600. The rear is unique to your 4-door R8 saloon I'm afraid.

I know the rear seat is serious mods time, I reckon you could do it if you cannibalised the latches and stuff from a 200. Essentially I guess any Rover-Honda will swap in up front then, possibly even things like 90s Honda Prelude seats which are super comfy.
