Removing numberplate surround

Postby alviseven » Wed Aug 09, 2017 7:15 pm

216 hatch - trying to remove the grey number plate plastic which goes along the lower part of the hatch. Have removed the two flange nuts either side and the one in the centre but it still is pretty stuck. Seems loose at each end and along the top but what holds it at the bottom please!

There are 5 nuts and 2 screws under the number plate.

Thought there might be but do not really want to take the new numberplate and sticky pads off so will put back the five nuts and leave be!
Thought it might be easier not to mask it up but now decided it will be easier to mask! Spares car is getting a massive make over.
Many thanks
