Would club/forum members object to paying for our club logo stickers? :) Following the example of the Coupe Club may well be the way to go on this.

They are expensive for the club to buy and there has been some discussion within the committee regarding a future buy.

I would respectfully remind everyone that our membership fee has to be just about the lowest of any proper car club and that is before the renewal discount.

I wouldn't object to paying for a decent quality / designed sticker.

I wouldn't object to paying my renewal fee either if anyone an fix the website,or pm me with bank info and ill do a transfer!

A freebie sticker with subscription is good publicity for the club remember as well as the member. If they want more then they can buy them. (I think I've got 3 on the Gti).

I don't follow what you're saying; are you referring to buying more, or selling the ones above [ I assume the club has paid for these some time ago?] :slapme

Or is it a good idea to supply with membership on initial joining, but not on renewal? :)

This is our existing, paid for long ago, stock level.

But there is currently no way of members buying these via our website as the link still doesn't work.

Our web payment partner has taken a long time not to fix it, despite many requests.

And setting up a PayPal account has been hard too..... :blushing

I'm still working on it :mouthshut

Can I be a little controversial?

I wonder how many members have used their stickers? With respect I think they could be more attractive with their design.

I think that was suggested at the last agm, however printing them, or rather paying a company to print em' is expensive and that is using the present font. The cheapest quote, I believe works out at 60p a sticker.
We have to be careful, otherwise each membership we sell will be at a loss.

I reckon I could get prices similar to that without much hunting but better quality / full colour print etc.

Let me see what I can get up with

You will get a sticker for the car when you join, at the moment that is only by post as we have trouble with online payment, just print off a form and send it to Tom, address on the form.
