Rover Graveyard in Oxfordshire?

#1 Post by Cromp85 » Tue Jan 29, 2019 10:29 pm

From Flickr i have found what looks to be a hoard of several R8 coupes, a couple of 3dr hatches and other MG Rovers cars. After a bit of research i have worked out the yard belongs to a company called Walters Coaches of Oxford. Does anyone know if these cars are being stripped or up for sale?

I wouldn't think it is anything to do with Craig Cheetham. Remember this site is quite close to Cowley so there are bound to be loads of old Rovers to buy up cheaply. I am sure Tanya Field will know about it.

Send the company an email or drop them a line, you never know your luck, might be worth posting the
Reg on the BRM as a private message to TheBRM facebook group to see if it has an owner on there.

Its a shame he didnt list any of them last summer when i actually had some cash :sad
The trouble with them being sold as a job lot is most people cant store or transport that many cars.
If they all end up at a breakers is anyone up for a club dismantling day?

Just remember you have 1k in trailers fees as well as none look particularly road worthy.
