I would just hack up the grill you'll get at it then and there plenty of grills about at the moment .

You may ever get at with hook on a stick from the left hand side , if you can pull off the plastic cover even better depends if it shut completely or its on the safety catch .

If your thinking of having this done i have A pillar section i have cut out and leading edge of roof section it would also make Mr revivals job a lot easier :thumbup1

At the end of the day there no substitute for CC but the exhaust manifold on the rover is terrible the inside is restricted with weld and is shameful , I Tig welded the outside ( if you don't do this the flange will fall off :laughing2 ) and ground out the welds on the inside to match ports on head ...

There are 2 near me one about to broken at my mates never see rust like it nothing left of the top of front window in white and red one up Cumbria that been off the road years but he's won't sell stuck under trees but looks very good lf that's any help there must be more than 4 out there .

Coupe rear crash bar if there's anything left :laughing2 , petrol tank and straps , cabby rear window rail , the main thing is that there's metal there to blast if not your welding .

I think breaking the gti for just the clocks would be a waste if its just the clocks you want i have spares and Retro Sports Cars Ltd or kmaps will give you good advise for the wiring side .
