Paintshop recommendations
Hi all, I'm looking at getting a bootlid sprayed and a scratch sorted on a rear quarter panel . Any recommendations for bodyshops in the East Midlands area?

Re: Hi Folks
Lovely car. Woollies is worth a try. I did some retrimming of the headlining many years ago with the foam backed material. The glue is key - it has to be the high temperature stuff. Some owners go down the flocking route too , but it wont have the same appearance as the original cloth . I think they...

Last TV commercial 'Meltdown'
Evening all. I was sorting through a pile of old car mags and spotted a reference to a TV commercial that was pulled just before MGR went bust. It was ironically named 'Meltdown ' . Does anyone know of it or have further details?

Rough cost of repairing paint damage
Morning all , My 45 is currently sat idle as it has been for 3 years. Quite a bit of welding needs doing to the sills but a brake failure also needs investigating and repairing along with a few other jobs to get it roadworthy again. The car is currently at my in-laws , so working on it isn't easy at...

T-series in the HHR 400
Morning all , I was just wondering what the potential issues are with the T-series engine fitted in the HHR. I recall oil leaks being common but not a critical failure and something you just live with. I've had a 1.8 45 saloon for many years , I'd be interested to know how they differ in terms of pe...
