Re: 420 R8 drive shaft
Did you use a new snap ring? If you reused the old one it could well have broken, or dislocated, when you refitted the driveshaft. Many years ago I had this problem, on a 216 Honda engine, when a mechanic did a repair for me. After the repair, first time on full lock, the driveshaft dropped out. Whe...

Re: R8 416 Front Subframe
I suggest you send a PM to 961tat on here. Worst case is you get a K series front subframe and have the Honda engine mount transplanted from your old one. 961tat can probably still do this. I've got a couple of NOS K series front-subframes if you can't get one from elsewhere.

Re: Spark Plugs - Rover 45 1.6L (16K4) 2001
So, 3546 appears to be the part number for PFR6N-11. According to Motaclan this is the correct plug for your car. As you say, there's a lot of different references for the plugs and it is a bit of a minefield. According to the HWM - Bosch FR 7 D+, or equivalent. NGK 3783, NGK BCPR6ES, NGK BKR6E, NGK...

Which sill panels do I need to order to replace entire sill?
I need to order the correct sill panels to replace the entire sill on both sides of my GTi Turbo. Could someone please guide me as to which panels I need for this? Thanks, Duncan.

Re: New project! 1998 VVC Coupe
That looks like a really lovely car. I look forward to seeing it at some event/meet in the not too distant future. White is such a great colour but I have to say that. I've got 3 white hatchbacks! Good luck with your mods and bodywork fixes.

Re: Rover 45 (2002 reg)
If it's a diesel or a 2.0l V6, I can't help you and don't bother to read on. Presuming it is a K-Series engine (1.4, 1.6, 1.8):- If it is definitely the head gasket, I would suggest fixing it now, otherwise it is likely to overheat and you'll end up needing the head skimming. If you are able to do i...

Re: Head lights
Then yours may be different. I'm referring to its position on a 1989-95 R8. I've taken some pictures but the image hosting website is under maintenance this evening. I'll put the pics up as soon as I can. Perhaps someone with an HHR can give you further guidance for your model. Sorry, I have no idea...
