That picture is hurting my eyes

Common problem, the ‘L shaped’ bracket that holds the ARB to the chassis weakens over time due to rust between the two surfaces.

It’s a straight forward repair even for an average welder, but this method is just totally wrong!

So a quick update on the racer, Not much has happened since the gearbox swap really, mainly due to other car related issues which have taken up my time. Hey John, I’m using NKG 6’s at the moment.

Small update: I brought some MTF94 oil and filled up the gearbox which took approx 2.2L. Then it was time to fire up the car for the first time in approx 6 months after a load of work, here is a video - https://youtu.be/FC9B8BpwXns Car runs absolutely fine, nice to have a smooth quiet gearbox fitted...
