Internal emergency boot release
Hi Guys Got an 05 Streetwise with an electric boot release. But currently got no battery to power than. Now I know I could get a new battery and install that but all I want to do is get into the boot via the hatch, difficult to get a mountain bike out of the rear door, :laughing2 :laughing2 . Now on...

Now with the arches in place no rust is visible so my idea is to remove and treat the rust and then paint myself and job done. This will ...

Re: Streetwise wheelarch mouldings
Hi All TBH I’d expected many to have had to take off the arches, prob due to rust, and broken many clips so was hopeful someone would knw the clip and a source. But I’ve taken a pic as suggested by GSi, as below. So hopefully someone know of a source. PS thats one of the unbroken ones, *laughs*. Che...

Re: Streetwise wheelarch mouldings

Well i recently got the front pass wing one off and yep the rust is pretty bad so i'll need to sort that, not sure if its new wings or try to sort the old one as their is no visible rust, its all behind...

Re: Head Gasket HELP HELP HELP !!
Hi All Well the engine is still running fine, though it does few miles and its losing very limited amount of coolant. Been comparing prices between local Rover dealer (well Chinese MG, obvs) and DMGRS and both pretty much say if you fit a MLS gasket you need to fit the upgraded oil rail. In fact unl...

Re: Head Gasket HELP HELP HELP !!
Hi All Thanx for the replies. Yup i forgot to say its a 1.4 103 bhp in an 05 Streetwise. In terms of the leak. There are witness marks of dried coolant and rust on the front of the block behind the Xhaust manifold and when its been run for a bit a slight wet run down the same area. Though i'll check...
