Re: 25 Fuel Tank

Cheers for that, great great detail. Looked at Rimmers and others to see what if anything was available and as you say seemingly nothing tank wise though as you say they have various parts. I can get a diesel tank, so its good to know problems with using those on a petrol. Found a couple of SH ones ...

25 Fuel Tank

Hi Couple of questions about a Rover 25/Streetwise petrol tank. Mine isn’t leaking yet but it is seriously rusty and is probably only a matter of time before it is. So its time to refurbish or replace it. So is the tank just a simple single skin steel tank? Any anyone know the availability of a petr...

Re: Post HG woes

Thanks both for the replies. I did use a lock tool and thought I’d got both the alignment marks in the correct place but the only thing I was slightly concerned about was that there was a little too much play in the cambelt between the cam sprockets. When the tensioner took tha play out it did that ...

Post HG woes

Hi All Well as per a previous post my HG has gone, not just the minor leak from the head/block join at the front of the engine as it was but the full coolant in the oil type. Though not visa versa and it never overheated, so I decided to do it myself. I’ve gone elastomer HG with full cambelt and wat...

OP2 Sensor

Might seem a daft question :slapme but how do you change an after cat O2 sensor on a 2005 1,4 K series. Obviously the sensor screws into the exhaust and the wires go through the floor I assume to connect to the wiring harness. And there in seems to lie the problem. The hole in the floor is smaller t...

Hi Guys Got an 05 Streetwise with an electric boot release. But currently got no battery to power than. Now I know I could get a new battery and install that but all I want to do is get into the boot via the hatch, difficult to get a mountain bike out of the rear door, :laughing2 :laughing2 . Now on...
