There are better sound insulation options than what came out of the factory.

Just a heads-up. Land Rover Discovery door mirrors from 1995-2004 were re-housed R8 items. Mine powerfold.

The last article about the rear seats is interesting but very diplomatic. The R8 was wider than what Honda wanted and longer than what Rover wanted. Then there is the front suspension..so shaving 10-20mm off the rear seats is a bit trivial in comparison. As for the photos, how badly painted is that ...

That car was outstanding on the rally. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I never got to service it before we took it abroad for the road trip. All it had was a change or rear anti-roll bar drop links and a change of brake fluid. Thats it. In total, it did 5k miles in 6 weeks or something crazy...

There is a thicker oil available which was supposed to be used on Rover-built PG1 'boxes.
