So no battery in the fob. Indeed, the recent key is not designed for a battery. But it unlocks the drivers door...

ideally yes, the current fob as well as the car.

If car is not mobile, you can bring just the 5AS module (its behind the centre console and the current fob, I have a programming lead that means I can do them off the car.
