Topcat Tomcat wrote: Thu Nov 23, 2023 2:43 pm Since the originals are NLA, has anyone found a suitable substitute, or could I get away with not having one in place?

Who's going to get a 3-D printer then?

Re: Upgrading Wind Down Windows to Electric - Rover 45

Re: Valuation needed for probate - R8 200 one owner from new

Can see the pics now.
Given the registration, I'd surmise a Weybridge/Kingston/Dunsfold connection?

People would be factoring in the costs to get it presentable again. So, value not a great deal above s...

Re: R8 CV Boots Beware OLD STOCK!

Hardy-Spicer was the OEM for the CV joints on my 214 - that's what they're marked. I think Hardy-Spicer ended up in GKN, GKN Driveline itself wrecked by vulture capitalists a few years ago. The last CV boots I bought were in GKN boxes, with the company logo moulded into the rubber. With formerly res...

Item 4 on here.

Unfortunately NLA at Rimmer's, so no part number displayed on the page.

Could you not inject some variety of elastomeric sealant into the hole?

You'll find compost down there - it's where leaves and seeds end up!

This is a bit of a worry, given that internal maintenance or refreshing of R8 headlamps wasn't provided for.
