I think the 'worn track' Dorchester reports may be the slip rings. These are obtainable as
service parts, and are straightforward to replace if you can solder.

I think alloy manifold is 'correct' for your car, in 1994. I have one of those duotone paint SEi's too. The plastic manifold has different idle air control arrangements too, so would be associated with a different ECU I expect. Didn't someone on here a few months ago have a problem with the throttle...

Assuming "metal" == steel, couldn't you get them repaired by welding or brazing?
(Also assuming no extreme distortion in the fracture area, which would be risky to straighten afterwards.)
