Re: The top stories on AROnline in 2022

Thanks, I really must get out to more club events in 2023.
The car was in the final 25 for the Pride of Ownership Stand at the Nov 22 NEC show, but we did not make the final cut of ten cars.

Is there an index to. Viking articles? Has been a bit too successful with dozens of issues, now difficult to find articles.

Re: Erratic Fuel Guage.

If it is the same as an R8 Tank, and R8 body, you can access the fuel sender unit from below the rear seat, remove the circular panel and that will reveal the sender unit connections. Top Right here> Disconnect the battery first and be aware of fire risks with an open tank. the sender unit can be ta...

Took a bit of force levering it up at one end first And I used a little bit of white spirit as it seems like ad...

Re: Sd3 216 correct spark plugs

Me too, I fitted Iridium plugs (to 216GTi Honda DOHC) and immediately noticed better starting, better acceleration, and smoother running, with no issues at MOT time with the emissions.
These plugs last 100k miles in Honda's view. Also used in F1 cars. Give them a try.

Re: Autocolourz touch up paint.

Not them but have used pearlescent cherry red from Paint Nuts.
Good match, I bought a spray can and a touch up paint tube.
