Re: Rover 200 Car of the Month - AROnline

I did enter it for the pride of Ownership Nov NEC last year, but did not make cut for the final 10 cars.
They called and asked if I wanted to be in the recent March Resto show; but it was at too short notice and I had something else on.
I will enter it again for the next NEC show in Nov.

Rover 200 Car of the Month - AROnline

I popped down in the Rover to see Keith Adams in Moorcott Leics last week. Keith is a well know motoring author and he has been the editor of several classic car magazines. He is currently the editor of Parkers Price Guide and runs the AROnline website featuring all things BLARG-related. Keith has m...

Re: Rear Caliper refurb

On mine I changed them because the cam that works the handbrake was worn on both sides, hiding to nothing, so got new ones at around £38 each, fitted new discs and pads too, now rears are as new and MOT woes with handbrake now sorted as it self adjusts properly. Go for it. Just seen them on Euro Car...

Re: Electrical Fault Finding Manual for Rover 200/400

Hi, thanks

I've been adding to a collection of Rovers books, brochures, bits and pieces over the years, so I would like to keep it with the car.

I posted it in the GTI page on FB and someone has replied that they have a PDF of this Manual, they may be willing to share that version.

Electrical Fault Finding Manual for Rover 200/400

Picked up this Electrical Fault Finding Manual at a show in 2021. Are these rare or commonplace? And what year/Reg would it be applicable to? It says from Vin 605482 onwards. My 1990 car's VIN is 272706, so much later perhaps 1994 from publishers code on the front cover. Any info is welcome. I need ...

Re: 216GTI gearbox oil

I have been using Magnatec 10/40 in both my engine (216 GTi Honda DOHC DA16 A9) and the gearbox for years, with no problems at all. https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/castrol-magnatec-a3-b4-engine-oil-10w-40-4ltr-521771951?gclid=CjwKCAiAjoeRBhAJEiwAYY3nDBuZ0g2y1FXtEnBkc3sf5DEUyoPTf3xFrb7oiupHxpTMuGD30JP...
