Re: 8th BL Rally, Milton Keynes Museum - Sun Sept 27th 2020

Yes, i’d go for something with a collar but I understand the constraints that a limited membership bring. Perhaps we fussy devils should wear a collared shirt underneath. Problem solved.

Re: How Much ???

Yes, an interesting car. I can understand the original number plate, R200OVR, not being included, but it is now on its third plate. What's the story behind that?

The £2,500/£3000 is an interesting opening bid.

Re: Giving up

Have you topped up the steering rack reservoir? If so, does it drive OK now?
What’s the chance of some photographs so that we can see the general condition?
If all is OK then the tenner in my pocket might stretch to £100.

Re: Giving up

This ten pound note is burning a hole in my pocket. Rather than see your cabbie end up in Leith Docks, I ask again - how much to fix the power steering these days? Any top-of-the-head estimates?

Re: Giving up

If the power steering rack is the only thing wrong with it, how much to put it right?
If it’s not too expensive then I could consider offering you the £10 that the scrappy wants and take it off your hands. 7

Re: Regional meet

I would be interested in meeting at Rover Revival as it would - a) - give the car, and us as owners, a spin out after the lifting of the lockdown b) - an opportunity to see the facilities of Rover Revival c) - an opportunity to meet other Rover addicts As a resident in the north I find this a very a...

What’s G3 Farecia? Not come across this before. Is it available in the UK?

Re: New Member

Welcome to the club and good to see that you have impeccable taste in driving a 216 Cabriolet.
Although I can’t help with the hood problem, I am sure that someone in the club will come up with a solution.
Thanks for the tip - I won’t let a dozen people sit on mine!

Re: Putting £ in

Me for one, but there is no accounting for illogical action when you fall in love.
Even now I would spend money a shedload of money on my 23 year old rather than think of it going for scrap.
