Re: Rover Revivals Revival

I used RR for long term storage, car got dropped off in 2020, then it got returned last month. :D Gutted it shut down, but I understood the decision. :closedeyes My garage is turning into a bit of a Rover Revival Legacy Outlet with the amount of Rover parts i've amassed for the Cabby and 25. :slapme

Sagging Drivers Door on Cabriolet - Cause?

My Drivers door on the Cabby has some slop to it, seems to catch the striker hard and needs a little lift to engage properly. I had a look at the components on Rimmers, but does anyone know the exact cause and solution before I do something dumb like ordering all new hinges and pins etc. :slapme Alt...

Re: Road fund licence increase - tax TODAY!

Just a tax on the poor, always effects us lowly peasants more than these Merc AMG and Range Rover folks. Not just here, it's worldwide. No surprise that the £0.00 cars are getting charged, give it a few years when there are a lot more electric cars on the road with £0.00 tax, they will get charged t...

Re: Adding air conditioning to a P-reg 200

Just had an enjoyable read with this, well done. :clapping I find the AC and the 25s to be prone to leaking, I recommend pressure testing it once a year, if you get a minor drop, then throw a can of this in. LINK: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283574157770 I had an issue on my ASTRA J, paid for a press...

Re: R8 A/C

The engine back is almost identical to a ROVER 25 (MG ZR), find a scrapper or raid a scrappy. I stripped out the system from a ROVER 25 for my Cabby, I cross-referenced all the pipes and parts from RIMMER Bros, 90% is the same, I am running a K-Series though, Honda or Diesel is a different matter. h...

Re: VVC into 1.6 Cabriolet

RoverRevival did this.

You are wise to use the existing PG1 gearbox, one from an MGF or MG TF is backwards and not compatible.
