Re: Cabriolet rear ARB

Sorry to drag up this old thread. I'm looking to change my Rear Lower Arms to a pair like in your pic above. The only ones I can find are for the Civic, I'm aware a lot of the Honda suspension is interchangeable with the Rover. I would just like confirmation from someone who has hand-on experience, ...

Re: rear drum to disc conversion

I know it's an old thread, it's just info for any one else planning it. Did this conversion this weekend, took about 2 hours. Used the complete Arm set up from a 1994 Cabbie, including all the links & handbrake cables. Took the liberty of upgrading the trailing arm bushes for Ploy bushes, which ...

Re: Front discs

Copper grease the Calliper Slider Pins & make sure the dust covers on them is located correctly so it does its job. Best practice and you will pat yourself on the back the next time you have to do them. These are a complete bstd if stiff of seized, not to mention the possible damage and danger t...

Re: Hybrid turbo

I have had very good results tuning my 1998 2.2dt Espace by simply replacing the airbox with a quality cone filter, fitting a single box straight through stainless steel exhaust & blocking off the EGR valve. Admittedly the vehicle wasn't fitted with a cat from the factory. The emissions are fine...

Re: Coupe windscreen crack

Hi From my bodywork experience I would suggest you remove the plastic scuttle cover & the side weatherstrip, carefully as the plastic clips are prone to breaking. This will expose the inner wing & A pillar area. If there's no visible damage ( creasing, cracking or corrosion ) you may need to...
