i have done MLS gasket on wet liner/closed deck one 1400 cc last year using eBay item number:200533973765 with no problems 5000 miles on :clapping :clapping :clapping the main issue is that all the liners are level (check with a good straight edge not ruler ) if not then your wasting your time :head...

belts power steering and alternator ( check if they are cracking up etc ) timing belt , water pump and tensioner and you'll better better off with a cam locking tool ( draper on ebay ) straightforward job really.

Hi bill Building a 2000 1.8 at the moment and they are 8mm dia ,lengths of bolts are , 12 off 25 mm long under bolt head . 2 off 60mm long under bolt head . you could drill m6 hole out to 6.8 mm and retap with 8mm x 1.25 pitch tap , aslong as there is enough wall thickness on cast . all the best 961...

you could swap the wiring and ecu because basically you changing everything from to donor car , alot of work i know or you could put your old dizzy on and run the old system being all the head are the same :D :D :D

thinking that you buy the later rover 25 car complete and transfer the wiring and ecu with gearbox etc , what does anyone think of that ?
