My steering is really light on my 1.6 Honda
Fitted to a j-plate r8. I spoke to John at the coupe AGM he suggested it might be the spring
Has gone inside.
The mechanic wants to know where the pressure release valve is on the steering rack?

It was the clutch.
New one fitted.

I’ve got my first turbo coupe.
When I’m in 1st and 2nd the turbo works
And occasionally in 3rd but in 4 no joy
It just revs.
Could it be the clutch or turbo.
Any ideas?

Good news is I had it fitted by garage
Friday and it was the right cable.
They charged me £99.
And it has stopped the Speedo shakes.

I’ve got a 1993 rover 218 diesel turbo
With 69k on the clock.
Between 15 to 40mph the speedometer
The needle shakes
about 5-10mm.
What could it be?

Thanks for your quick replies.
It was the wiring loom. 4 cores had
snapped out the 5. Just jointed them in
the boot and in the tailgate.
Everything lights up dash and boot light.
