Re: New owner of 218 Coupe

:welcome Out of interest have you bought the Sliver Coupe with the 1.8 K Series, the photo's showed a VVC inlet manifold? It was on Ebay a week ago! :) Funny one that, I could have sworn it said VVC on top of the injector rail thingy like all the others but apparently someone told the seller it was...

Re: Good old rover video

Was great fun that X Cars series, about a Greater Manchester Police unmarked cars unit in c.1996. Look out for the bit in another episode where a nutter in a Mk2 Cavalier reverses over the bonnet of the 420. And was that good old T series Turbo torque steer I detected in the on board shot... 'Nice g...

Re: Work in Progress 220 Turbo Coupe

OSR wheelarch rust.

Oh and the emissions which according to a nice garage in Darlaston, may be to do with valve stem seals (it apparently isn't the turbo).

Re: Rev limiter at 1000rpm?

No sooner is my 1995 214 Cabriolet road legal, than it gives me a new problem... Driving the few miles home from the MOT, the engine loses all power. it idles normally, but apply any throttle and it bounces around 1000rpm exactly as though it was hitting a rev limiter. When I fitted on of these rot...

Re: POL17 - Sat 15th April - who is going?

Great turnout from the Coupes, of the more ordinary versions there were some 216s but only one 214 that I saw (red SEi)?

Apart from mine, which I later brought back to the exit to see everyone off...

Exhaust note of the day: that dark blue phase 1 SD1 3500.

Re: Calling Rover 200 [RF] 214Si owners.

Sorry, don't know what you mean. I have a '92 Rover 214 SPi engine that I want to convert to MPi. I have changed flywheel, ECU and manifold but can't get it to start. By the way, for reference can I ask what the part number was on the old flywheel? Just trying to establish if you can still get hold...
