Re: R3 Headliner Sunroof Aperture Plastic Trim Problem

I think I have found a solution, after looking at the headlining in my 25 Impression S3. The clips actually retain the plastic trim to the sunroof tray, not to the headlining material. The material and backing board is merely sandwiched between the two. I hope that helps :) Sir, you are an absolute...

Re: R3 Headliner Sunroof Aperture Plastic Trim Problem

Blimey, I would never have thought of that. I will have a look.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to investigate.

Re: R3 Headliner Sunroof Aperture Plastic Trim Problem

Hi all. After a lousy past 8 months and my energy levels apparently beginning to improve (🤞), I've started to look at this problem again. I've had to glue two of the clips to the headlining to keep them in position. Has anyone experienced similar problems and come up with a neat, strong and lasting ...

So it is! It was certainly interesting to see the differences between your car and an R8.

Pershore Plum Car Show 2025 - August Bank Holiday Monday

Hello Everyone. I'm somewhat late in posting this, but if anyone is interested in showing their car at this excellent show, they need to submit their application by the 31st of July. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, I won't be taking any cars this year, despite only living half a mile from the...

I couldn't remember that, so I did wonder.......then I realised that there was no evidence of old glue or foam in the upper surface!

R3 Headliner Sunroof Aperture Plastic Trim Problem

I've just replaced the headling material on my 200 iS. When I tried to refit the sunroof aperture trim, it appears to have shrunk. 😱 20241128_104144.jpg 20241129_144419.jpg 20241129_144412.jpg After a bit of a faff, I managed to fit all 6 clips, although one subsequently pulled away from the headlin...

Re: Pershore Plum Festival Car Show

Thanks, I've booked Hamish the Honda in so I'll see you there! It was good to talk to you this afternoon. It’s always good to put a face to a name. I was also interesting to see the differences between the Rover R8 and the Honda version. And I learnt a few things as well! It was a shame that there ...

Re: Pershore Plum Festival Car Show

It’s site access from 08.00. I usually arrive about that time and walk home for breakfast and to make my sandwiches! People are often still arriving at 10.00, which isn’t a problem as there is plenty of room in the park. Late comers just end up at the edges, so they don’t have to drive through the c...
