A definite "No" to that idea! Location is in line of vision and I dread to think what would happen under any sharp braking, there's good reason cup holders are much further down! If you can't put it down between the seats/centre console area then consider getting a door bin off another typ...

I have a friend with a very early 216GSi (G reg) and he needs a new brake master cylinder. He's getting conflicting information at the moment. Which one should he be getting?
