as title says i wanna convert to all round discs as i will be increasing the power of my car and sooner or later will be going to track days so i want to get discs on the back for better brake cooling anyway has anyone got any ideas what cars rear calipers and everything will fit? also will i be able to get a unit that bolts straight on or will i need to source source conversion plates for the caliper carrier to bolt to?

oh the pain for such little increase in braking power.
Saying that, it looks better. But the calipers seize and the cables stretch ect.
So, on to what you need, basically the back end of a vvc coupe or turbo.
you will need:
rear trailing arms
hand brake cables
calipers
discs & pads
rear brake pipes
Your handbrake will suck, but it will look pretty and this coming from the guy who used all new kit. If you want i'll link to the section of my blog when i did it to my cabby.

In theory at least, the trailing arms can stay but you need disc spindles. I assume these come with the calliper carrier mount points, etc.
But as Dist said, everything has to be sourced - nothing is common between drum and disc brakes.

you can't use use the drum arms at all, there are no additional holes for holding the caliper carriers or anything.
As per my blog post i pulled them apart hoping to be able to keep them but nothing was usable.

Get the discs on and move away from the 1980's

Just find a ZS 180 breaking and get everything you need

Your handbrake will suck...
Why does the handbrake suck? Just curious...

It just doesn't bite nearly as tight as the drum did (based on my cabby).
Still more than enough but i bet i could have done a handbrake turn on drums, no chance on the discs and all mine where new kit, caliper, pad, disc and handbrake cable.
