With a lot of new members we thought this 'how to' guide might come in useful.

It has been written using Flickr - https://www.flickr.com - as the example photo hosting site but this is only one of many such sites and is not a recommendation as such, but it does seem to work pretty well...

So after signing-up for an account you need to upload the photos you want to post on this forum. Click here to upload




Once uploaded, click the photo you want to share then click the share button




Now select the option to share to a Bulletin Board , in this case 'BBcode'



Copy the link details and past then into your thread. You can shorten it to just the code between the "img" tags
"[ img]https://live.staticflickr.com/12345/1234512345b.jpg[/ img]"

If you're copying more than one image you'll find it easier to keep both the club forum and photo hosting sites open at the same time.

Does anybody else have recommendations for other photo hosting sites?

i personally use imgbb.com, pretty much a case of right click on the image, copy image address and paste it in the img code as above.
Also only post the pic then not all the extra flickr adverts...*laughs*

Now that's easy just used imgbb.com

Instagram is also an option.

good night, I also used imgbb.com, and the truth is that it was very easy, I followed the advice of Vinny1979 and uploaded photos very easy greetings from Spain

Ok so I post the img bb code and no pictures

Works here sort of, but not in reply to John’s post

The post with the code in two up has an ! on the end.
Change it to a ] and it should be OK.

Sorted it was the imgbb direct link I needed not html link for the pictures, there is choice on drop down menu.
