We have booked this year's AGM at the Coventry Transport Museum for Sunday 27th October. Attendance and voting is for Club Members only but you can join on the day.
It will take place in the Bettmann suite from 13:00
The address is Millennium Place, Hales Street, Coventry, CV1 1JD
There will be changes to the committee again this year as Paul Fixter has advised that he needs to relinquish the role of Club Secretary for personal reasons but he will continue to run our social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter.
This means that either we will need a new Club Secretary or another committee memeber will need to move roles, so if it you are interested in any committee role please contact myself or a committee member to discuss - private messages being the preferred method.
Committee roles are:-
Chairman
Treasurer
Secretary
Events
Membership
There will be parking outside the museum on Milennium Plaza for club cars. Here's how to get to it:-

I don’t mind posting my reasons for stepping down and as such copying and pasting my post from the committee thread:
I feel I am not able to do the post of Club Secretary justice due to lack of time. I have not been able to reply to emails as quick as I would like, and deal with things as efficiently as I would prefer to.
This is due to life in general; full time work, having 3 young children, ongoing house renovation, other hobbies, kids activities everyday (swimming lessons, football training, Guides, gymnastics etc etc), time is at a real premium and I don’t have a lot of it spare.
However what I would like to suggest is a club Social Media Administrator, and I would be happy to undertake this role, or at least share it.
Social media is easier for me as it is quick and easy to do on the move. If John is happy to continue with Facebook, I am happy to continue with Twitter and Instagram but in a more official capacity?
Finally I will need to send my apologies for the AGM as it is half term and the we are having a family holiday in St Andrews in Scotland from Fri 25th Oct for 1 week.

We have Paul Fixter who wishes to step down as club secretary and it would do no harm to have a bit of 'transition' in other roles - "a change is as good as a rest", they say.
Therefore we could do with club members who are interested in getting involved as 'understudies' for roles such as Events Secretary and Magazine Editor to allow:-
A) The current person to transition into another role
B) The new person to learn the ropes
and
C) Both see if this is the right move at the right time before committing
All committee roles are open every year so if you so please come along to the AGM willing to get your sleeves rolled up and get involved in keeping this club moving in the right direction.
