Hi all,
I've very recently bought my first Rover (though owned several BL products in the past) a 1999 416si in old English white.
It came up for sale locally to me in Dorset with only 35k on it,not was a vivid extension so I popped it in for a test which it passed with advisory on tyres, which I knew about,it's never failed an MOT which was part of my reasoning for buying it.I suspect the cambelt has never been changed,I will have to get this done pronto but not sure if it's something I want to tackle.
Front drivers wing is the only rusty bit,so I'm on the lookout for one, everything else is just servicing really.ive changed the oil and filter, air filter, cabin filter which was the original and very blocked. If drives lovely and if I sort the wing out will be very smart indeed. No doubt I will have many questions soon, this is actually the newest car I've had so a lot of things are new to me! Looking forward to being part of the group.
