Hi,
My Rover 45 has just turned 20 years old, wondering if I can get classic insurance?
Anyone recommend any insurance companies to try?
Regards

I use Lancaster, have done for four years now.
My 1990 Rover 216 GTi is insured for under £100, limited to 4k miles/year. Agreed value too.
It’s garaged at home and that seems to bring the biggest discounts. On road or on-drive parking will increase the cost.
Good luck

To qualify for classic car insurance you often need to own a "modern" car as well. It's to avoid people claiming they are running a car as a classic but are actually using it as a cheap runaround.

Hi,
Thanks for your replies will give Lancaster a go later this year and see what they quote.
Mine is my second car had to get a modern one for daily use after many years of Rover service as my daily commute and cheap running costs!
