I went and had a look at 220 today
The car was ticking over at a stand still
and the fan came on but the
coolant bottle was warm
all the pipes were hot?
Should it be like that?

Can you still get the hoses to
the left of the engine?

Engines generate heat at idle - that travels round the whole system and so i would say it's ok

No idea if hoses are available - check out Rimmer brothers

Very small number of 2.0 coolant hoses available from RB now - it was only 2 recently.

Samco make silicon sets but they're pricy (£250+) and we're on a long leadtime (c.8wks) but they should last a fair while.

Plan ahead
