The late Princess Diana's MK3 Ford Escort XR3i Turbo, which was a special order vehicle in black [ all the rest were white] has sold today at the Silverstone Auction. It went for £650,000 !

I think the estimate was 60 -80,000! There is a 12.5% buyers premium to pay too!

Total cost of car was about £725k with vat and fees as someone with 3 classic fords does put a smile on my face good the car has stayed in UK tho, was watching the auction live looked like was off to Dubai
