Hi all, I own a Honda Civic (Rover 45 shape) and I'm finally back out in it again after a month long rust repair including the inner and outer arch along with a new inner and outer sill on the passenger side. It's had new paintwork to finish off the repair.

Looks great! Is this the one that was inherited from your Grandad, or am I thinking of someone else?

Great work!
Your Civic will always be welcome at our club events, maybe you could bring it along to the Great British Car Journey on 14th May:

Nice work. Like the photos showing the extent of the rust.
I have a similar 1997, 5 door Civic 1.5Lsi rotting on my drive. Has gone in similar areas, rear arches and rear sills etc.
I still give it a wash every so often. One day it will receive some attention.

Great to see someone looking after their chassis!
Too many people scrap these cars for such problems.

Thanks, yeah the repair went further than originally thought but that's to be expected I suppose. Its good that your still giving yours a wash occasionally though.

Cheers, thankfully the rest of the car is good condition with the original protection still in place. Just have to give it an annual inspection to keep it in good shape.
