Streetwise wheelarch mouldings

Hi All
My Streetwise seems to have rusty wings, so normal R25 then
But to get a proper look and sort out in need to get the wheelarch mouldings off.
Now from reading the limited amount on the WWW I think they are held on by some plastic trim clips and double sided sticky pads.
So is it just a case of giving them a good yank to get them off or is there a specific way of doing that.
I don’t want to do wrong and bust a load of clips made from unobtainium
Cheers Bean

Hi All
Did a bit more reading round on this and most thoughts were they just pull off, carefully.
Well i recently got the front pass wing one off and yep the rust is pretty bad so i'll need to sort that, not sure if its new wings or try to sort the old one as their is no visible rust, its all behind the arch.
But the main issue now is I bust three of the clips getting the arch trim off
and can't seem to find the exact right ones.
So the question is where can i get some new ones from or what clips has anyone used that are not quiet right but have done the job successfully.
Hopefully someone got some idea as i'm currently driving around with only three arch trrim.
Cheers Bean

Can you post a photo of the clips?
There is always a possibility the clip will be shared with an entirely different piece of trim on another MGR model!

Hi All
TBH I’d expected many to have had to take off the arches, prob due to rust, and broken many clips so was hopeful someone would knw the clip and a source.
But I’ve taken a pic as suggested by GSi, as below.
So hopefully someone know of a source.
PS thats one of the unbroken ones, *laughs*.

That looks quite similar to a lot of clips that are used to retain door cards. What are the various dimensions of it (diameters of the two circular parts and also the overall length)? And what diameter is the hole in the wing?

Howard (RIP) used to swear by a company called Bresco for clips like this.

Hi All
I'd not heard of Breso but found their website and going to message them.
Just slightly surprised that someone else on the forum has had to change these clips and hadn't found originals or an alternative.
Oh well maybe tahst me
