Car seems unduly noisy with wind noise do you think a new set of seals might help still lAvailable at Rimmers though expensive then the cost of fitting,as some of you know she’s immaculate so in the main I tend to keep throwing money at her, wonder if anyone has done this.

Wind noise from where, exactly?

The black exterior windscreen pillar trim which helps give the car it's pillarless appearance has been shaped specifically to reduce wind noise, but with certain directions of high cross winds, they are less effective as they're designed to quieten air hitting the front of the car when driving at speed.

I'd suggest you may have just noticed this wind noise for the first time, and it's related to recent weather which has been very windy in parts of the UK.

The doors are double-sealed, as there's both an inner and outer rubber deal - one on each door aperture on the car, and one on each door (unlike a lot of other cars which only have one) so it's extremely unlikely wind noise is coming from the door seals.

It is worth checking that the seal around the tailgate hasn't come loose. Also make sure that your sunroof is shut correctly, assuming that you have a sunroof!

Hi - not sure if you have a sunroof but I found my car was noisy. Checked and all the windows were fully shut. Raised the sunroof up and back to seated position and it made a massive difference. Not sure if that’ll help!
