If you lookup the club on YouTube, the original 4 minute advert used for the launch of the R8 is there!

The original location used for the 'register office' shots is somewhere in the N.E so that's a long way to go for some of us!

Thanks, I didn’t even know there was a you tube channel! I found it in the notes, but as you say that looks a long way oop North! I’m down in Bucks, so possibly further than Swindon. Doesn’t sound like it can be done in a day very easily does it?


Still don’t know why the pose though, if it’s not Morecambe. We probably never will….

The Graduate@35 will take place in the NE of England, with the main part being a car display at South Shields Town Hall, the site of the 'wedding' in the TV advert

Tickets are being made available to club members first, at a price of £5 per person. There will be special parking for early 5-door 200s at the front of the building, by the famous steps.
