R8 1995 216SLi rear jacking point repair

Post by RoverRon216 »

Started on the NS rear sill repair, realised it also needed inner sill repair too...

Then when cleaning / angry wire brushing the area, found the jacking point was on the raggedy edge, then also saw another hole right next to the pivot arm mount :/

I don't suppose there are any prefabricated panels for the pivot mount?

Anyone repaired this mount part, or the rear jacking point, before?

We've decided to let it go to a forum member if anyone wants it (see advert section) for £200 either to repair or to strip for spares as we don't want to do that, but part of me still wants to try fixing it... :clapping

Not that I'm aware of ...

The best way might be to try to salvage one out of a scrap car. If you're very lucky, somebody might have cut that section out already.
I like Twin Cams.... and Single Cams...and now Turbos
