Meet at Boscombe Down Aircraft Museum 11th May 2025

Hi everyone I have now booked Boscombe Down Aviation Collection http://www.boscombedownaviationcollection.co.uk/ for the 11th May 2025 - I have booked this as part of RCOC but want to include 200\400 etc.

There is an area in front of the WW1 Hangars that they have put to one side for us to park.
I will post up nearer the time but it looks like we will meet at 10am, go inside for a briefing in the conference room for a tea or coffee and have a brief introduction to the museum.
Cost will be £10.50 per head on the day please.

The museum has a lot of aircraft cockpits you can sit in on site, as well as complete airframes. Website is very dated but don't judge a book by its cover -its well worth a visit

Any questions please contact me.

Could you also please confirm below if you are going so I can update on numbers?
Thanks
Neil

Count me in :)

Is it £10.50 per car, or per person?

Just thought I would nudge this one up the events list a bit, as the date is getting closer.

Anybody else going?

Not sure if I can make this?
Car not idling properly after I changed the cam belt ( runs fine otherwise).
Hoping I can sort it in the next couple of weeks and feel a bit more confident about taking it further afield as this event is a 200 mile round trip for me.
Fingers crossed I find the issue

I might as well show up for this I've never been, although I now live not so far away in Bristol and I was stationed just outside of Salisbury at Larkhill in the seventies.

Could you also please confirm below if you are going so I can update on numbers?
Thanks
Neil

Moving is taking far longer than I had anticipated, 26 years of collecting/not throwing away takes some time to resolve.
