The auto gearbox in my 1993 216i with the DOHC Honda engine isn't very well. Does anyone know if any new parts are still available for these gearboxes? Alternatively, there appear to be some variations of this box and if I need to go down the route of buying a, hopefully good, second hand box, which variations may be suitable and does anyone on here have one or know to one? Is there any service data available? Part of my work is industrial hydraulics and I have, in the distant past rebuilt Chrysler Torqueflight and Borg-Warner type 35 and 65 boxes, so I wouldn't be afraid to tackle on of these Honda boxes.
Thanks in advance for any advice. I live in Cornwall but will be quite happy to travel, if necessary, to collect a box.

I found this one on ebay from BAS mini spares and it’s the same code as the box in my 416

I also have a recollection that on another post the club member Chris Taylor (961Tat) had one. Might be my memory playing tricks on me and he may not still have it but it might be worth contacting him.

Thanks for the replies and the heads up on the available box. Chris: i will send you a PM. I have a close cousin in Lancaster who isn't very well and I am planning on visiting her in the very near future, so this could be opportune.
