This is my first Rover. only done 46,000 miles from new. no rust, service history and K&N induction kit :)

I maybe selling this sometime soon, due to my accident a few years ago and damged my spine. it does seem alittle low for me to get in and out off. :mope

Whats up with the inlet plenum? Looks like its at a funny angle, or are they all like that?

is there anyway of getting more power out of the 1.4? Ive got a K&N induction kit.

And can I uprate the head gasket? Just so I know it'll not fail etc.

The 1.4 16v MPi is a pretty high power motor for its size anyway, even by todays standards! So you aren't going to get a lot of extra power out of it without spending a lot of cash and if you were going to do that you may as well get a 1.6 or a 1.8 instead.

Usual mods are air filter and exhaust followed by a 4-2-1 manifold too if you are feeling flush. Don't expect more than a 5-15bhp increase and you'll not be disappointed.
