Hello everybody!!!! How are you?? :)
Im Alberto, im 20 and Im from Spain.... Im gonna show you my dear Rover...

Its a 214 SLI that my parents bought new in 1994... Ive always been in love of her...
I still remember when they boutht her and I just was 4 years old... That day was important to me :laughing2

Nowdays is mine, It has belonged to me since 2 years ago.... Everyday I try to take care of her...
She is a really good car and we havent have any serious problem...
In my opinion the worst thing is that is a really noisy car... but anyway... its very fast to be a 1.4 :laughing2

I love her luxury interior and her exterior, althought i prefer 220 GSI exterior... I love that model, its more sportive...

Just a question, why do you considerate cars like girls??? :laughing2
I mean that for example you are talking about your car you say "She is..."
In Spain we say "He is..." :laughing2

I dont speak very well English so If you dont understand any sentences just ask me :)
Greetings from Spain!!!!

Hope you like it!!!

She looks nice .
Its good that the car has been handed down to you, and the first keepers are your parents.

Welcome to the site.

Its a nice looking car, I guess the weather down in Spain is a lot kinder to cars than it is up here in the UK

Some people in the UK refer to their cars as "He" and others refer to them as "She".
Most cars will be female though, I think that is because they are moody and breakdown a lot!

The 1.4 is a good engine but a little noisy on the open road. You can try adding extra soundproofing if it bothers you a lot.

Well, the weather depends in which part of Spain you are...

The south and the eastside use to be really hot and warm... Thats not very good for cars, because the sun is bad for interior plastics and bumpers.... It makes the plastics lose their colours...

However the north of Spain use to be really cold except in June, July and August... Especially my city called Burgos which is situated in the North is very, very, very cold....
Here Its snows a lot every year and there is much wind...
But the worst thing is that here in the North, the temperature change a lot between day and night...
For example, in Summer at afternoon it can be 90º Farenheit but that day at midnight It can be less of 50º F.

These contrasts are really bad for cars, but fortunately my car sleeps in a garage :D

Ive been in a town of England called Eastbourne and the weather was much more soft than here... But the most strange thing is that here use to be cold but its sunny and there Its warmer but cloudy...

looks to be in good condition. i thought cars didnt live much past 10 years old in spain. ive been to quite a few parts of spain and the cars are always in a rough condition, dents, scrathes and bits falling off. yours seems to be an exception.

yeah, thats truth... Here in Spain, cars use to be in bad conditions and really dirty...
Spanish people dont care about them, especially in the southside....
Which places do you visit in Spain????

My car is in good conditions because my parents and me use to be careful with her...
Now she is 147.000 km, about 94.000 miles and she goes fabulously... :)
