Finally got it back!!

My Tourer has been of the road for the last 2 and a half months due to ABS faults.
Well, I have finally got it sorted, well the garage has!!
They purchased a secondhand unit, and were able to make one good one out of the both.
At the same time the car was treated to new oil and filter, air filter, spark clubs, transmission flush, and new wiper blades.
I had originally taken my car in to the local Honda dealer, thinking they would be able to plug in the diagnostic thingy, being a Honda based system, they reckoned they could not find the plug to hook into. Anyway, when watching them thru the viewing window in the customer lounge, I saw them with a big pipe and they were hitting something in the engine bay. Long story short, they were hitting the ABS pump to see if the jolt would free it up.
What they actually did, was manage to break the magnets in the motor, rendering the whole thing basically to scrap.
So, do not think I will be taking my car to the Honda dealer again.
Anyway, I am really pleased to have my Tourer back again, and be able to use it.....the Sterling now can have a good rest.
