Water Leaks

The car is leaking :(
I have just taken the two side panels off in the boot as the water was sitting behind both of them, and also a big pool under the spare wheel.
I presume it is getting in through the rear lights, are there any other common areas to look out for?

Mine let in a little water past the passenger rear light assembly last year. I simply removed it and carefully ran a bead of silicone sealent around it and tightened it up good and proper. Use clear if you fear the sealent might be seen.
I have noticed that most R8's have fogged windows now when it rains indicating small leaks of some sort. Perhaps the boot seal is damaged or that some water could be getting past the rear screen washer jet seal.

Both rear lights were full of water. Replaced them with some spares I had kicking about where the foam was a lot less compressed. We'll see how that goes. If it doesn't work then I'll get the sealant gun out
Here's hoping that the water feature dries up. The ducks landing and taking off are quite distracting whilst driving

My Coupe is leaking as well but it isn't the rear lights. The bottom third of the rear window never seems to de-mist properly compared to the rest of it.
Have a word with Anthony Endsor, he had a similar problem on his that was to do with the plastic clips holding the plastic surround in.

I've always found a good smear of vaseline over both sides of the seals works well.
Another culprit of soggy boot syndrome are the vent flaps on the inner wings

Still leaking. Went out this morning, and puddles on both sides.
Left hand light appears to be sealed...So not sure where it is coming in there?
Right hand light is still leaking all though have silicone sealant on it twice. :(
Where should I check next?

Side panels have been out for a while now otherwise I wouldn't spot the water.
The car is stationary and the vent flaps are sealing so I can't understand how it would get in them :?

Mine's leaking as well. Looks like it could be the rear windscreen seal. it seems to be not seating properly right in the middle at the top. looks like something is obstructing it. maybe it's those plastic clip things like someone mentioned back along in this topic.
But rear lights seem to be the culprit 99% of the time. We put loads of goo around the clusters on my dad's GTi to stop it leaking. it did work, you've just got to make sure you fill all the gaps!
