hello all i wonder if you can help me when i try to Accelerate my engine just reves and i get a clutch smell but i can still drive it but very very slowly using the engine bite point. im going to sound really stupid is it the clutch going and how easy is it to fit a new one

If the cable or the rod isn't seized then yes it sounds like the clutch. It isn't the easiest job in the world, but it can be done DIY if you are confident. It all depends on how handy you are with a spanner.
