Muriel is loaded and ready for entry to Hall 5 tomorrow

We could still do with some more hands on-deck if anyone fancies coming along, especially if you're good at cleaning or spannering!

Non-members would just have to join the club (from £11) to qualify for a free ticket :cool

Please PM me if interested

If anyone visiting the show has any of the following they would be able to donate to Project Muriel (an early R8), it would be much appreciated :angel

- Front and rear wiper arms that still have black paint on them
- Rear light covers, the ones inside the boot
- Working CDL motors, we have 2 door that do lock and unlock and 2 that don't...

The Practical Classics Restoration Show is open!

These are the 3 cars on our club stand:
- 'Project Muriel', which will have a good clean, an engine service and a full interior swap

- Our Classic Car Loan Project R8 214, which is having a new clutch fitted

Image

- Gareth's rather lovely Streetwise with a VVC K-series engine, which needs nothing doing to it. The SW is 20 years old this year!

Iain, Gareth and Duncan are cracking on with the clutch swap

Good job it's being done...

Thanks to everyone who popped by the stand today - sorry if I was a bit distracted, I was determined to get the clutch finished!

A big thank you to Duncan for holding the fort all day.

Just like to say how great it was to have so many club members stop by and have a chat today. It made my day. Thank You, it was a real pleasure to spend some time with you all.

Great job by Iain and Gareth doing the clutch replacement on Paul's CCLP 214.

Good luck for the weekend folks, hope you have as rewarding a time as I did today.

Cheers, Duncan
