Cabriolet hood
Re: Cabriolet hood
The hood itself seems relatively cheap on e-bay, just need to find someone clever to fit it. I haven't seen any used ones for sale (good ones)
Re: Cabriolet hood
Good advice, I was lucky enough to have a spare set of retainers & rear bar that I prepped before doing the job.
Re: Cabriolet hood
They do come up but usually with the car , i have fitted a couple before and its all about the prep I'll ask a guy I know who had one fitted in Birmingham they did a really good job and I supplied load of part for that and replated (zinc ) metal retainer bar front and in the roof lining I'm sure it's was no were near £2 k .

Re: Cabriolet hood
This is my local place, when I checked about 10 years ago for my old cabby.
https://prestigeautotrim.com/uk/
They had an uncollected customer roof ready to go.
It was blue mohair and was £400.
They no longer list a ROVER Cabby, but they would still make and fit one.

Re: Cabriolet hood
Have you tried Dave Hayden At Walsall
I have been in touch recently and he will do it but said I need to source a replacement rear rail as mine is badly corroded.
I saw a post that said someone could get replacements made from stainless if he could get a decent one to use as a pattern.
Does anyone know if this has been possible?
Mine is badly corroded but as far as I can tell without removing it, it is complete & in one piece.
