The club now has a Facebook GROUP!





This is different to previously, when we've had both a Facebook PAGE and a SALES GROUP.

The difference is that only the club can start threads on a PAGE, whereas all members can on a GROUP. This has led to non-sales postings appearing in the Sales Group.

So, this will give the club a more interactive Facebook presence and keep everything in one place.

It is a private group, meaning you have to join. This an attempt to control access and keep out spammers but please bear with us as it may take a little time to settle down.

The old Facebook PAGE and a SALES GROUP will be mothballed shortly and probably removed in the future to make life simpler for all.

Well, today's been a bit crazy on the new Facebook Group - 30 new posts and 180 new members have joined

Thanks to Paul Fixter for helping set it up and keep all the plates spinning

There up to nearly 470 people who have joined the new group on Facebook

There are many people posting who previously couldn't and the 'Buy and Sell' section has an increasing number of parts on it, but no cars yet. It's all , fingers crossed, everyone is getting on with each other

This is all in addition to this forum and is not intended to replace anything on our forum - some people use the forum, some use Facebook and some use both

The club's old Facebook Page and Sales Group are now 'paused' - they are still visible but no longer in use.

The club's new Group now has over 700 members, well below the 3,400 that the old page used to have, but all these have joined since we started the Group and so are currently interested.

We are getting a good amount of member's posts and items for sale

Future events are also posted there with a link back to the club's forum.
